Holiday Development Program

Overview

As part of Nepean Football Association’s commitment to player development, NFA is excited to re-introduce a series of Holiday Development Programs designed to provide high‑quality coaching and growth opportunities during the school holiday periods.

These programs mark the first stage of a broader strategic approach to delivering accessible, engaging, and development‑focused opportunities for players across the region. While the Holiday Development Programs will be our primary offering for 2026, additional enhancements and expanded development initiatives are planned for 2027, as we continue to evolve and strengthen our player pathway framework.

We look forward to working closely with clubs, coaches, and our wider football community to ensure the success of these programs and to create enjoyable, enriching football experiences for all participants.

About the Program

The Nepean Football Association Holiday Skill Development Clinic is a registration‑based program designed for players from across the 30 Nepean Football Association clubs who are looking to develop and enhance their technical skills during the school holiday periods.

Modelled on best‑practice development frameworks used across the game, the Holiday Development Program offers players access to additional coaching, skills training, and game‑based learning in a supportive and challenging environment.

The aim of the Holiday Clinic is to provide fun, engaging, and development‑focused sessions that help players build strong technical foundations, learn valuable football behaviours, and foster a lifelong love of the game.

Program Structure – 1 Day Program

Mixed Gender Squads of all age groups from U5’s to U12’s (where registrations permit – Unless specified)
18 players per age group (numbers to increase)
1 day program focusing on the Four Core Skills
- 4 x 50 minute training sessions across the 1 day program
- 4 sessions per day (4 core skills per day)
Cost: $50 (+GST)

Program Structure – 2 Day Program

Mixed Gender Squads of all age groups from U5’s to U12’s (where registrations permit – Unless specified)
18 players per age group (numbers to increase)
2 day program focusing on the Four Core Skills
- 4 x 75 minute training sessions across the 2 day program
- 2 sessions per day (2 core skills per day)
Cost: $100 (+GST)
