Competition round dates are published at the commencement of each season and are subject to change by Nepean FA. The season commences late March or Early April and concluding the last weekend in August
8 TEAM COMPETITIONS
1. Each eight-team division will be divided in two groups at the conclusion the regular competition.
- Teams finishing in positions 1,4,6,8 at the end of the league season shall participate in “Group A” Championship Series Tournament.
- Teams finishing in positions 2,3,5,7 at the end of the league season shall participate in “Group B” Championship Series Tournament.
2. Championship Series Tournament matches are played in the same manner as the regular league season. Games may end in a win or a draw. There is no requirement for extra time or penalties in 6 or 8 team tournaments. If teams are tied at the completion of the match, the result is recorded as a draw.
3. The team that finishes top of group A shall play the team that finishes top of group B in the season ending final.
4. Where a bye exists in an eight-team competition, the bye will be recognised as Eighth (8th) place.
10 TEAM COMPETITIONS
1. Age groups and divisions that have 9 or 10 teams competing are not able to use the same format as the 8-team competition as there are not enough weeks in the season available to play all the games.
2. The League competition is completed at the end of round 18.
3. Only the top 4 teams in the division will proceed to Championship Series Tournament.
4. Non-qualifying teams will finish their season at the end of round 18.
The format used to determine finalists in a 10-team competition is;
b.Team finishing 1st vs. Team finishing 4th winner to final, loser eliminated
c.Team finishing 2nd vs. Team finishing 3rd winner to final, loser eliminated
5. In 10 Team Tournaments, a result must be reached.
SIX TEAM COMPETITIONS
1. In Age/Divisions where there is a six-team competition, the league season is completed after round 15.
2. The division is split into Group A & Group B. Winners of the two groups meet in the final.
- Group A – teams finishing 1st, 4th and 6th
- Group B – teams finishing 2nd, 3rd & 5th
If a season affected by significant rain and field closures, the competition team rescheduling available spare weekends or weeknights. Dribl is your source of truth, if you have any issues or questions about fixtures please direct them to your club. Non-competition games are washed outed and not rescheduled.
What happens if we run out of time to get these games played, action will be taken as follows,
- 8 and 6 team comps, removal of spare weekend between championship series and final. If still impacted their will be a change of final format to either a top 4 final series or 1 v 2 final play off.
- * 10 team comps final series will change from top 4 series to 1 v 2 final play off
- If there is continued wet weather, then Nepean FA competitions team may washout a full round not to be replaced no score or points will be awarded.

Quite a few things really. However, your first port of call should be your club.
Advise your club secretary, competition secretary if its a league table or result that is not correct. They will contact the Association. Please be very clear with the details, especially in relation to competitions. Ensure you have age group, division and type of competition, mixed or girls/ladies/mens so that there is no possibility that someone will misunderstand your query. Do not contact our office directly

- If you paid all fees upfront in Playfootball your refund will be processed and returned to the card used for the original payment
- If you paid the club any portion of fees contact your club to discuss your refund.
