Coaching

Nepean FA have a strong coach and player development focus.

We conduct all the FFA Community Coach Education Courses within the Association area and generally conduct 2 of each of the Skill Training, Game Training and Senior Coaching Certificates each year. One at the beginning of the season and one at the end. Community Goalkeeping courses are also conducted as required, depending on demand.

The Miniroo’s Coaching Certificates are conducted in regions and there are multiple courses each year. These courses are predominantly held just before the season, so anytime between February and March and are FREE and open to all interested people, not just coaches.

Our Football Manager is also available to conduct skills sessions and updates at our clubs by request. These sessions are generally used to demonstrate a particular core skill or topic from the FFA’s National Curriculum that a club coach or coaches are wanting more information on. These sessions are delivered in such a way as to demonstrate how easy it can be to plan and conduct a fun, engaging football session where the players can develop and learn and coaches can ask questions and discuss/collaborate with their peers.

Questions or enquiries can be directed to our Football Manager on james.rankine@nepeanfootball.com.au
