Declaration of Leagues – 2022 Men’s Waratah League & Women’s Ruby League

Nepean Football Association is pleased to announce the Declaration of Leagues for our Men’s Waratah League & Women’s Ruby League for the 2022 season.

Both these competitions are the pinnacle grades for our Men’s and Women’s competitions because they showcase the best of the best in player skill and ability as well as some of the best coaches our district has to offer.

The inaugural season for both these newly launched leagues was unfortunately cut short because of the public health orders that put Sydney into an extended lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic, so we never did get to see how the season would have played out.  But, with double vaccination rates in NSW now at an all time high, we feel confident that we can all look forward to season 2022, when these leagues, as well as all our other competitions can re-group and come back stronger and more exciting than ever.

The Men’s Waratah League contains 10 teams.  The Women’s Ruby League contains 7 teams and an open bye position.  Any club wishing to fill either bye position should get in touch with our Admin team if they wish to be considered for this spot.
