We have been working hard to provide the latest coaching resources and courses to our members and, as you may have heard, we have made some amazing progress in this area. There's still plenty to do and to keep moving forward, we are able to announce the coach education calendar for 2017/18.
We encourage all coaches to attend one of these courses as they are a great way to help run your sessions, no matter what level your players are at. It is also a great tool for coaches, both new and experienced, as there's always more to learn. Here's some feedback from one of our "seasoned" coaches about a course they attended earlier this year:
If I am completely honest I thought that the course would be a waste of time, BUT.... in reality it was the most enjoyable thing I've done with football in years. The practical aspect of the course was so very engaging. It helped me to see training from the kids side & I'm looking forward to getting stuck in this year (if the rain ever stops!!)
Thank you for the effort you put in, the passion you have for the sport is obvious & great to see. Favorite comment: "Play football to get fit, don't get fit to play football"
